Three places where oxidised copper regularly ends up, and what is different about each of them.
Wall cladding and panels
Indoors the tone comes into its own, because it stays the way it was delivered. No rain, no sun, no further development of the layer. What you approve is still on the wall in exactly that state years later.
We supply the sheets cut and folded, in the formats your substructure needs. Joint pattern, fixing and edge detail are agreed before oxidising, because a fold made after colouring no longer comes out cleanly.
Façade cladding
Outdoors the weather carries on working. An oxidised façade starts in the tone you chose but darkens over the years. On vertical surfaces that usually ends at an anthracite brown, which is the final colour state there.
Anyone who knows that plans for it. Anyone who does not is surprised after five years. So it says so here and not in the small print: the tone ex works is the beginning, not the end.

Furniture, desks and art in architecture
Small surfaces are the most rewarding. That is where you see the texture that disappears on a façade seen from twenty metres.
Where oxidised copper does not belong
On pitched roof surfaces the path leads to patina green over the years, because precipitation stays there longer. If you are planning a roof surface in green, copper patina is the right route, not oxidising.
And what we do not offer: colouring on the building site. Under site conditions a large surface turns out patchy, and the layer usually does not stand up to the weather. We deliver finished components; installation is done by your own contractor.
